When I used my week’s leave to travel to some part of Sabah, I decided to bring along my wife and my daughter. We drove all the way from Labuan – Kota Kinabalu – Kundasang – Ranau – Sandakan – Kundasang – Kudat – Kota Kinabalu and back to Labuan island.
I used to travel alone, free from hassle of traveling in group. But it’s different when I brought my family along. It’s more relaxed, although 90% of the whole trip was to show them where I’ve been when I carry my camera along in my previous trip.
So it’s that time of the year again, when I felt a pinch of burn out over weekdays and restless weekends. I’ve been involved in new partnership, re-submit to the sports club and trying to add value to a local art group we called “SebumbungSeni”. It was all worth it, although it definitely took some time from me. Not to mention the Labuanisland.net project, which has been inactive for a while due to content management and lack of worth information about Labuan island.
Looking back some old prints, and some buried deep in gigabytes of storage, maybe it’s time that I come out with my own photobook. Limited prints, printed on photographic paper. Maybe.
If that’s going to happen, I just hope I don’t die exhausted from thinking, planning and executing. 🙂
