Buying t-shirt in Thamel Street can be tricky. Most of the shop here does not display price. Those who do, will put it on the collar tag. Language is not a problem, so you can try to negotiate on the price as most traders in Thamel Street speak decent English. Negotiate on the price if you\u2019re buying in bulk to bring home. If you\u2019re on budget, please negotiate fairly as they are small traders and they\u2019re trying to make a living too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On our last day in Kathmandu, we look for shops selling Nepal \/ Kathmandu t-shirt to bring home to our family members. Thamel Street is filled with shops focused on tourist and hikers\/climbers, so it\u2019s easy to find what you need here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This shop is next to a shop selling tea powders, the opposite is a shop selling souvenir like keychain, etc. It\u2019s close to Skyline Hotel (the place we stayed in while in Kathmandu).<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We stop at this shop, because they display their t-shirt design like this, so it\u2019s easy for us to decide. Apparently, the owner just started doing business here and looking to promote his business in Google. We can only found Namaste Fair Trade, which is not his. He told me his shop is listed in Google Maps, but as we stand there about 10 minutes Googling all Namaste Trade name in Google Maps, we finally decided we should register it again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After helping him (I forgot his name. He also forgot to give me his business card), we say goodbye and I told him to wait for few days to see if Google Maps approve of my submission. If not, I will still post this on my blog anyway. I bought two shirts from him at normal price – which is almost the price like the rest of the shops here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
