Personally, I think if we are planning to progress, we should look pass building another dense concrete jungle.

On the other hand, the illustration looks like another photo of KL city with Genting Highland on the background.

Sabah in particular need more work on

  1. Knowledge economy
  2. Salary range

At the moment, Pan Borneo highway is in progress. It will serve to ease logistics and connectivity between districts, and Sarawak and Brunei; which will help to boost economic activity.

So the challenge would be, when the economy is growing, does Sabahan have the capacity and qualification to serve in public and private sectors to maintain the growing economy? Of course they have, but many chose to work in KL as there are more opportunities there. Sabah should empower their own people and the business landscape to maintain its own fund and resources.

By prioritizing the development of a highly skilled workforce, we can advocate for more reasonable, or even higher wages, which will help us better manage the rising cost of living.

As times change and knowledge becomes increasingly accessible, meaningful progress is within reach.
