While waiting, I went for a few shots of the setting sun to the horizon. The haze made this possible. I’ve explained before in various occasion regarding the haze as one of the factor that kind of stop or reflect the massive light from the sun so it looks round. Come to think of it, I don’t get to see the clear round shape of the sun like this in any other day, except for when observing the sunspot using the special filter. And to think about it, it’s been a few months I’ve missed the weekend sun-gazing during the daylight. 🙁
For Hilal observation, I relied on the data from Kalkulator Falak. And as I am taking the shot without using tracker, I also relied on the help from the staffs of Pejabat Mufti W.P. Labuan.
