The trip to Rusukan Kecil was planned a month earlier. It is an informal collaboration with Labuan Marine Park Department as we will photograph the beauty of the beaches and surroundings of Labuan Marine Park. Labuan Marine Park consists of Kuraman island, Rusukan Kecil island and Rusukan Besar island. For this trip, we will stay for a night at Rusukan Besar island as it has a little house for Labuan Marine Park staff to stay on duty.

Personally I’ve been to all these three islands. It was beautiful. Carpets of corals on the seabed. Crystal clear water and the tranquility it offers.
We are planning for another trip to the other island, perhaps in the next month, or months. Each of us developed a connection to the nature, and hoping through our effort in photographing the beauty of these islands will help to preserve the marine life and beautiful nature of Labuan Marine Park.
We have been talking about setting up a website which promotes these islands to escalate awareness towards people the importance of nature preservation.
