It’s almost a week now since my little princess, Hana was born. I love to tell you guys (if only you concern about me), she’s in a very good health. My life is getting more perfect with her in our family.

I think it’s a good thing to know a bit about photography. You see, everyone that knows me very well expects that I will take a good picture of my daughter. Some said with such equipment (I think they’re referring to my digital SLR and few camera lens that woo-ed some people) I can take better picture of my baby girl already.

I often keep myself reminded. It’s not the camera. It’s the people behind the camera. So if you’re reading this, you too can take a good picture of your little miss sunshine. *smile*

This time, I’m using black & white mode to capture the images. Apart from that, the only thing that I do care about is the composition. Sometimes a right moment can be seized perfectly from a good considerable angle. Actually, it’s all from your own perspective.

Some people might not understand why you’re taking a picture of your wife wiping your little girl nose. But for me, it does create a sense of connection between the two subjects. I’ve printed this one in 4R size and put it on my work desk - it reminds me of both of them.

I got this one with the kit lens. The background might be distracting, but I’m not taking this picture for commercial purpose - so I don’t care lah.

That’s her first time raising her hand. I’m lucky enough to capture this moment. She’s able to do a lot of things now - though she’s just 7 days old. She raised the hand on her second days of her life, and on the third day she already grabbed my fingers. I understand it doesn’t mean anything special - but what do you feel if your first child grabbing your fingers and give you that cute smile?
