Again, this is another post with photos taken at the same venue and the same time, with the same companion. These are the winners of the karaoke competition which took place at UMS-KAL last week from 15th to 17th August 2008.

#4 She sang Mama. Sampai menangis si kawan yang pakai D60 tu.

#5 He sang Hazami song.

#6 She sang Siti Nurhaliza song. The theme song for SpaQ which was aired on TV3 long time ago. Forgot the song name already lah. I just remember the main actress that got muka keras even when she happy, sad or wtf.

#7 Zainal Abidin. He’s really a talented singer and professional too when it comes to interacting with the audience.

Rosli and I secured a place under the stage, but good enough to get the best view for this kind of shot. The stage lighting was tricky, so we have to wait for the singer to step forward under the light. One thing that you should know is - the best picture is when the subject looking at you. All the above are the example of how not to shoot a performer on stage. But, if they’re not looking to your direction, try to capture them in their best expression - that will help.
