Finally, it’s the closing ceremony for Labuan International Sea Challenge 2008. The highlight for this time, is of course, the usual music performance from various artistes they can drag from West Malaysia (and Naufara & Azharina from Sabah) to Labuan.
The ceremony started around 8.45 pm. The venue still at the open stage area, with this time, the citizen have more option to sit where they like, as there was another projector on the other side for the ‘unfortunate’ who can’t secure a sit on the ground (VIPs were on stage)
Labuan Corporation Chairman, Dato Suhaili Abdul Rahman officiated the closing ceremony of Labuan International Sea Challenge 2008. Among the highlight in his speech was the concern over expensive flight ticket and insufficient flight route that connects Labuan to other part Malaysia. He hopes, the related authorities will give more attention to this, as Labuan has been working so hard to promote the tourism, but without a good logistic factor, it wont be any used to Labuan peoples.
Following his speech was the price giving ceremony for top three winners of the main event of LISC; IGFA Deep Sea Fishing competition, Labuan-Brunei Kayak Challenge, etc.

The concert finished at 12 a.m. followed by fireworks. Well, I went home at 10, because have to go to work the next day.
So, thank you for your continuous support over the week of LISC blog posts. Finally it came to an end. With more than 2000 shots that covered almost the whole event alone (though less than 60 appeared on my blog), I guess it’s a good timing now to get a new one.
